Center for Public Administration and Public Policies hosts Aula María Zambrano de Estudios Transatlánticos at ISCSP
On April 12, ISCSP and the Center for Public Administration and Public Policies hosted the visit of a delegation from the University of Malaga headed by its Vice-Rector, Professor Juan Antonio Garcia Galindo and Cathedratic Professor of the Faculty of Law, Professor Magdalena Martin.
The entourage also included Genoveva Novas and Antonio Cuartero, co-editors of TSN magazine, one of the faces of Aula María Zambrano de Estudios Transatlánticos, an international scientific organization with Transatlantic Studies as mission. At ISCSP, the delegation was received by Vice-Presidents Alice Trindade, Isabel Soares and Romana Xerez. On the afternoon, CAPP President Paulo Seixas made a short presentation about the research center, followed by the presentation of the Aula María Zambrano de Estudios Transatlánticos and the TSN Magazine by the researchers from Malaga. The enconter then moved to a debate where different experiences and perspectives where shared.
Collaboration between the two institutions, now reinforced and projected for the future, has been an ongoing process, consolidated since 2015. Isabel Soares and Alice Trindade are members of TNS's Advisory Boards, while Rita Amorim and Raquel Baltazar serve as correspondents for the magazine in Portugal. Given the large spread of portuguese speakers over the Atlantic, researchers from the Institute share a special relevance as Consultive Observers.
