Jorge de Sá passes away

Jorge de Sá, a former researcher at the Centre for Public Administration and Public Policies and Professor at ISCSP has passed away at the age of 68. The researcher held a PhD in Management from IUL-ISCTE, and conducted teaching and research activities in several institutions throughout Europe.

Jorge de Sá was a Professor at Instituto Superior de Ciências Sociais e Políticas (ISCSP) and was a researcher at CAPP. He was elected for the Executive Board of the National Council of Social Economy (CNES), having dedicated a considerable part of his career to research in Social Economy. He participated in the founding of the Portuguese Social Economy Confederation, thus contributing to the creation of a new legal and institutional framework for Social Economy in Portugal.

He was also the President of the International Center for Research and Information on Public, Social and Cooperative Economics.
