In Children's right to participate in early childhood education settings: A systematic review, Nadine Correia, Cláudia Camilo, Cecília Aguiar (ISCTE-IUL) and Fausto Amaro (CAPP/ISCSP) offer a new review of the literature on the right of children to participate in decision-making processes that might affect their lives. The relevance of this literature is highlighted by the recommendations of the European Commission in 2013, proposing that every member-state should develop integrated strategies for promoting the involvement of children in these processes. The review is available online.
