Pedro Correia and Elenara Almeida publish a new article on Lex Humana
Pedro Miguel Alves Ribeiro Correia (CAPP) is the author of a new article published on Lex Humana, with the title “The Portuguese scientific production: a study from 1980 to 2015 according to the data of the Institute of Scientific Information (ISI)”.
Written with Elenara Chaves Edler de Almeida (CAPES), the authors address the scientific production of Portugal from 1945, comparing the decades 1980/90 and 2005/15. During these two decades, the public production of the internationally recognized country increased 35 times in 2016, with patents registered 45 times. The authors conclude that this is the result of public policies aimed at the development of S&T, of academia and business partnerships, and of personnel qualification, driven by membership in the European Union.
