ENAJUS 2019 - Administration of Justice Meeting

The period for submissions to the ENAJUS - Administration of Justice Meeting will be open until march, 2019. The Centre for Public Administration and Public Policies is a partner in this event.

The Administration of Justice Meeting - EnAJUS 2019 - to be held in Brasília, Brazil, from August 4 to 6, 2019, is the culmination of an effort to produce knowledge on the Administration of Justice. It is an event promoted jointly by the University of Brasília (UnB) and the Brazilian Institute of Social Studies and Research (IBEPES). The first meeting – EnAJUS 2018 - took place in Brasília, Brazil, on 24 and 25 April, 2018, and brought together approximately 120 participants, including teachers, researchers, technicians, public managers and policy makers, legal operators, and undergraduate and graduate students.

EnAJUS 2019's main theme will be the Challenges of the Administration of Justice in the 21st Century. Old challenges for the efficient and effective functioning of justice, such as access and speed, add to new challenges, such as transparency, the relationship with other public and private social systems, the use of new information and communication technologies. These challenges pressure Justice organizations to adopt new governance models and new ways of providing justice services to society. In this sense, the event seeks, with support from scientific research and practical experiences, to discuss alternatives for a justice administration aligned with current challenges.
