Summary:

The territorial policies imply a particular attention to the region as a specific territory, a) in the framework of the law 75/2013, so an AM (metropolitan area) a CIM (Inter-Community), b) under the Political-Administrative Statute of the Autonomous Regions, an RA (Region Autonomous), or c) within the territorial policy of the European Union, as in the case of the Euro-Regions or EGTC (European Grouping of Territorial Cooperation).

The 'Region 2020' project aims at the identification of strategic determinants of local and regional development that allow placing the municipality and the region 'on the map'. This project will be supported by concrete partnerships with municipalities or regions and through participatory and collaborative methodologies. Besides, this is a project that intends to include other projects which aim at the analysis, intervention and follow-up of the development in several regions, make the pave to comparisons of strategies, processes and outputs within a H2020 framework.
