1st Congress and 3rd Conference - Towards Humanization in Palliative Care: From policies to practice in palliative care: what paths have we travelled?
The 1st Congress and 3rd Conference - Towards Humanization in Palliative Care will be held on October 24 and 25, 2024, an initiative organized by the Community of Practice in Palliative Care of the Institute of Social and Political Sciences of the Universidade de Lisboa (ISCSP-ULisboa) with the support of CAPP.
With the theme From policies to practice in palliative care: what paths have been taken? this initiative aims to bring together students and professionals to share, deepen and question the various policies and practices around the theme of palliative care. This initiative is a space for practice, research, reflection and sharing, open to professionals and students in the areas of social sciences, behavior and health and other potentially interested parties.
Proposals for free papers will be accepted until July 31, 2024, and must be submitted using the online form available on the project website.
The abstracts submitted must fall within the following thematic areas: Public Policies and Palliative Care, user/Family and Palliative Care, professionals and Palliative Care, and Community and participatory intervention in Palliative Care. This initiative is attended by specialists from different disciplines who share and reflect on current policies and practices in Palliative Care. A multidisciplinary perspective is valued, fostering synergies in scientific and/or practical matters that drive the discussion and construction of knowledge about humanization in Palliative Care.
