Website of the 50 Years of Democracy in Portugal Project (ISCSP/CAPP)
The website for the research project 50 Years of Democracy in Portugal: Democratic Aspirations and Practices - Generational Continuities and Changes has just been launched.
The project is being developed on the anniversary of April 25th, with the aim of mapping and describing how the Portuguese perceive and understand the main characteristics of our democracy.
The team includes ISCSP Professors Manuel Meirinho, Conceição Pequito Teixeira, and Pedro Fonseca, as well as a number of researchers who are occasionally associated with the project. It also includes research fellows who collaborate on tasks and carry out master's and doctoral research within its scope.
The project, funded by the Centre for Administration and Public Policies (CAPP-ISCSP-ULisboa) through national funds from the FCT - Foundation for Science and Technology, I.P., under Project UIDB/00713/2020, has the Commemorative Commission for the 50th Anniversary of April 25 and the newspaper “Público” as its partners.
The website provides information on the research results and on other topics related to the organization and functioning of Portuguese democracy.
