Scientific Writing and Publication Workshops

These workshops offer participants the opportunity to enhance their academic writing and publication skills. Topics covered include the structure of scientific articles, critical analysis of academic papers, journal selection and indexing, academic style, literature reviews, writing in English, presenting results, and responding to reviewers. Participants will gain a comprehensive overview of the publication process and acquire the tools needed to improve their scientific writing. Sessions will take place periodically throughout the academic year.

A dynamic and focused approach is adopted in each session, aiming to motivate participants towards academic research by normalising common challenges and encouraging resilience. Senior researchers will share experiences and best practices.

These workshops are intended for master’s and doctoral students at ISCSP, as well as early-career researchers affiliated with ISCSP’s Research Centres. Participation is free of charge but requires prior registration, and places are limited.
