Scientific Article Development Workshop

This workshop is a valuable opportunity to improve scientific articles in progress, offering an initial round of peer review.

A call for paper submissions will be issued, targeting works-in-progress of up to 4,500 words. Applicants must indicate the journal to which they intend to submit their paper and provide the submission guidelines, allowing for feedback to be tailored to the requirements of the publication process.

Papers must align with the thematic areas of CAPP and IO and their respective research lines, ensuring relevance and coherence with the workshop’s aims. The goal is to help participants enhance the structure, theoretical and thematic framing, methodological approach, results presentation and discussion, conclusion writing, and articulation of study limitations and contributions.

Papers will be selected based on thematic relevance and developmental stage, ensuring that all presentations are of high quality and sufficiently advanced to enable constructive peer feedback.

With a maximum of five papers per session, participants will have the chance to interact with fellow researchers and receive detailed feedback from senior reviewers.

One or two senior researchers will review each selected paper. On the day of the workshop, authors must present their paper using a single slide in a five-minute presentation (maximum), followed by comments and suggestions from the reviewers.

In summary, the Scientific Article Development Workshop offers researchers a unique opportunity to improve their article-writing skills and receive expert academic feedback.
